Gatos de la Noche

About Gatos de la Noche

Gatos De La Noche is non-profit organization who takes care of the homeless population of feral and community cats in San Jose, CA and its surrounding cities. For years, we've been feeding colonies and practicing TNR (Trap, Neuter and Return). Cats are humanely trapped and taken to a veterinarian to be neutered and vaccinated. After recovery, the cats are returned to their home—their colony—outdoors. Kittens and cats who are friendly and socialized to people may be adopted into homes. They all may not be fortunate enough to get homes but we'll do our best to keep them safe, fed, and provide medical attention when possible.

Through our continuous efforts, hundreds of cats have been neutered or spayed and safely released to their familiar environment. During kitten season we have wonderful volunteers who take care and nurture kittens until they are old enough to get adopted. We also provide assistance, equipment, as well as education for anyone who would like to get involved.
