** COURTESY POST **

L ove comes in many shapes and sizes. Sometimes it comes with soulful eyes, fluffy fur, four legs, and a tail, embraced by soft and happy purrs.

Enter our sweet, handsome and exotic 5.5 months old Piper. His exotic looks come not only from his beautiful Persian mother, but also from some mysterious and handsome American Domestic/Scottish Fold/Ragdoll mister! Piper, his sister, Mitzi and mama Athena were found on a San Jose suburban street when they were 4 months old and still nursing. Emaciated mama delivered yet another litter of five kittens mere hours after they got rescued.

Besides being quite the handsome boy, Piper is genuinely sweet and polite. He loves to make eye contact and talk to you. While a bit shy at first, once feels comfortable, Piper prefers to stay near you and is eager to please. When snuggling, he'll serenade you with his high-octane purr motor. He's fond of belly rubs, too. Piper's very athletic and loves jumping. He's very serious about play time and loves to launch himself through the air to catch some airborne toy or leap onto his "kitty bounce house" which is really a collection of kitty tubes. Because they're springy and provide cushion, it's irresistible to him. Although Piper is intense about play, he has a gentle soul and would often be found grooming his little sister.

Piper is also smart and very observant. Not much escapes his attention. Another of his favorite activity is watching TV or a video screen. It's not unusual to see him with his paws on the screen attempting to catch a moving object. He'd do well with someone who can give him one-on-one attention and wants a dedicated kitty buddy. Piper definitely has the capability to be very trusting. Once he understands what's expected of him, he will aim to please. It's not in his personality to test the limits of something, unlike some cats (like his sister). Piper is very good about using his scratch pole, too! This boy loves spending hours playing and being next to his human.

Piper will thrive in a mellow home without other animals and young children. Piper would love to be adopted with his little brother, Adonis and would also do well with a sociable and playful male kitty. This sweet and playful boy can't wait to find his forever family to share his limitless love!
